Sharon Bevers - President and Treasurer

Sharon BeversSharon is a co-founder and President of Energy 4 A Cure Foundation and has retired from the Energy Industry with plans to devote more time to support the efforts of Energy 4 A Cure. Sharon has worked in the energy industry for over 28 years, in a variety of areas; contracts, offshore pipeline permitting, right of way agent, supply chain management, marketing, trading, transportation. Sharon has a very personal interest in supporting the research for RVCL as it affects her family. Sharon and husband, Steve, Co-Founder, live in Prosper, Texas. Sharon and Steve have three sons, three daughers-in-love and six grandchildren. She loves spending time with family and friends; hobbies include: cycling, target shooting and travelling.

Steve Bevers - Vice-President and Secretary

Sharon BeversSteve is a co-founder and Vice-President of Energy 4 A Cure Foundation and is currently employed at Denbury Resources as a Sr. Project Manager (Enhanced Oil Recovery – Facilities Group). Steve has worked in the energy industry for over 29 years, in a variety of areas; Field Engineering, Pipeline Integrity, Mechanical Support, Engineering, and Project Management. Steve has a very personal interest in supporting the research for RVCL as it affects his wife’s family. Steve and his wife, Sharon, Co-Founder, live in Prosper, Texas. Steve and Sharon have three sons and six grandchildren. Steve’s hobbies include: water skiing, snow skiing, cycling and target shooting.

Greg Reynolds

Greg ReynoldsGreg has been a board member of Energy 4 A Cure Foundation since inception of 2009 and is currently the owner of G & R Automotive in Lubbock, Texas. Greg has owned G & R Automotive since 1999. Greg also retired from the Marine Corps in 2003. Greg and his wife, Lucy, have one son Christopher and reside in Lubbock, Texas. Greg's hobbies include: Hunting, Fishing and Drag Racing.

Kent Gilbreath

Sharon BeversKent has been a board member of Energy 4 A Cure Foundation since the inception in 2009. Kent is currently employed at Thoma Engineering, Inc. in Lubbock, TX as Director of CADD Operations. Kent is also active with the Pirates of the Plains, a Parrot Head Club, which includes the charities for the Alzheimer’s Association, Foster *A* Life, Meals on Wheels and Toys for Tots. His hobbies include golf, scuba diving and boating.

Greg Winger

Greg WingerGreg has been a board member of Energy 4 A Cure Foundation since its inception of 2009 and is currently the District Manager at Jason’s Deli (www.Jasonsdeli.com) located in Chicago, Illinois. Greg has been at Jason’s Deli for 11 years and in the restaurant industry for 18 years. Greg and his wife, Ana, who is very instrumental in supporting E4AC, reside in Algonquin, IL along with their children, Zachary, Alexis and Briana. Greg enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Greg's hobbies include: Golfing, running and cooking.

Scott Hensley

Scott HensleyScott has been a board member of Energy for A Cure Foundation since its inception in 2009. He is a professional engineer with Parkhill, Smith & Cooper Inc. and serves as the company's Mechanical Team Leader and as a Project Manager. Scott has been a Consulting Engineer for almost 30 years. Scott and his wife, Jana, three daughters, Cheryl, Denise, and Katie Jo, and son Travis live in Lubbock, Texas. Scott's hobbies include: hunting, fishing, water & snow skiing, shooting sports, golf and boating.

Jana Hensley

Jana HensleyJana has been a board member of Energy 4 A Cure Foundation since the inception in 2009. Jana is a CPA and has had her own accounting firm since 1990. Jana is a graduate of Texas Tech University and has been working in the accounting field since 1984. Jana and her husband, Scott, have four children and have been lifetime residents of Lubbock, TX. Jana is very active in her children’s activities and has volunteered in many organizations including Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, PTA and swim team activities. Jana’s hobbies include reading, camping, sewing and bike riding with her son.

Kathrynn Heater

Kathrnn HeaterKaty has been a supporter of Energy for a Cure since before it was founded. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Missouri Western State University and currently works for Colman Insurance Services. She has worked in the insurance industry for over 15 years, as a controller and as a customer service representative. In 2000, Katy married David Heater and they have two daughters, Grace and Claire. Katy loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys watching her children in their many sporting activities. Having lost her Mother (Phyllis Wheeler-Matter) to RVCL in 2010, and watching other family members suffer with RVCL, it is Katy’s mission to educate others as well as raise funds for continued research. “It is hard to watch a family member suffer and feel like there isn’t anything you can do to help them, and being a part of Energy 4 A Cure is something I can do to help the next generation.”
